I think a lot of gay men take their sexuality for granted nowadays. We don't realize just how lucky we are. I have friends that are older who tell me about the struggles they went through to get acceptance while growing up. I know this still exists in very rural areas, and rough neighborhoods, but I think for the most part...most gay men have it much easier now. I think we whould give thanks to those came before us, and once in awhile show our true appreciation. If it weren't for the gays and lesbians who fought at Stonewall, protested, marched countless times for gay rights...we wouldn't even be hearing in the news that gay marriage is on the horizon. I just wanted to personally give my thanks and appreciation!
