I think a lot of gay men take their sexuality for granted nowadays. We don't realize just how lucky we are. I have friends that are older who tell me about the struggles they went through to get acceptance while growing up. I know this still exists in very rural areas, and rough neighborhoods, but I think for the most part...most gay men have it much easier now.
